TCSL Fives provides festival-style match days during the Fall, Winter, and Summer seasons for U8 players and teams to better prepare players for the competitive “travel” soccer experience at U9. Teams play 2 small-sided 5v5 games on each match day against neighboring clubs.
Differences from Rec / Competitive
- Players: 4 field players + goalkeeper (5v5)
- Field Size: Typically 1/3 to 1/2 of a “full” field
- Duration: 2 x 20 minute halves
- Two games on each match day
- 1 Referee
