Kevin Schug
President
Kevin Schug serves as President of the Richfield Soccer Association, providing leadership and strategic direction to support the club's mission of creating a positive and rewarding soccer experience for every player and family. He works with the Board of Directors to guide RSA's vision, ensure strong governance, and promote the continued growth of soccer throughout the Richfield community. Kevin and his wife have called Richfield home since 2013 and are raising three young boys, all of whom are beginning their soccer journeys with RSA. As both a parent and board member, Kevin is passionate about building a welcoming community where players can develop their skills, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of the game. Kevin is honored to help lead RSA while continuing to strengthen the club's tradition of community, sportsmanship, and player development.
Matt Walters
Treasurer
As Treasurer for RSA, my primary responsibilities include overseeing the club's financial health, managing budgets, and ensuring transparent financial operations so that our resources directly support our players and coaches. I am deeply connected to the Richfield community and passionate about helping the club maintain affordable, high-quality soccer programming for local families. I love serving on the board to help ensure RSA remains a stable and thriving community asset for seasons to come!
Kim Foss
Secretary
Having played soccer through high school, now enjoying watching my 6 kids play, and as a certified USSF referee, I love the game! Watching players and teams grow and develop is a joy! Having seen a lot of games won/lost in the last seconds, my favorite sports quote is by Yogi Berra: "It ain't over 'til it's over."
Emily Gilbert
Registrar
As Registrar for RSA, my primary responsibilities include managing the administrative and operational aspects of player, coach, and team registration in compliance with TCSL and state association rules. I grew up in Richfield and my kids have played with RSA for 5+ years, both in our rec program and our competitive program. My kids have developed a love for soccer, their coaches and their teammates, and I love helping other kids and families join our soccer community!
Analy Hernandez
Recreational Director
My name is Analy Hernandez, and I am a proud Richfield resident and former Richfield student. For the past three years (six seasons), I have had the privilege of serving as the Director of the Richfield Recreation Soccer Program. My family and I have chosen Richfield as our forever home, and we are committed to giving back to the community that means so much to us. Alongside my husband, Coach Stanley, we have worked to grow and strengthen the Richfield Recreation Program. Our own children have participated, currently participate, and will continue to be involved in the RSA programs, making this program especially meaningful to our family. Together, we share a passion for creating positive opportunities for young athletes.
Akin Falade
Director of Coaching
Akin is thrilled to have been appointed Director of Coaching for the club and is excited and looks forward to supporting and building on the holistic development program already in place. His ultimate objective for Richfield Soccer to become synonymous with the best youth soccer experience a child can have. Akin has been part of the Minnesota soccer community for over 16 years, coaching at clubs and schools across the state. What he's most passionate about is helping Richfield Soccer build a program where players, coaches, and families feel supported and connected, both on and off the field. Akin's mission as a coach and director is to create a positive, supportive environment where coaches, players, and families build strong relationships and grow together. Through collaborative, guided activities, he works to promote inclusivity, a growth mindset, and overall growth within the community.
Brenda Gidea
Kit Coordinator
Brenda Gadea serves as the Kit Coordinator for RSA and is also a proud parent of two players in the program. She is passionate about RSA’s mission as a true community club—one that believes every child deserves the opportunity to play club soccer. Brenda is inspired by the club’s commitment to inclusion, access, and creating a welcoming environment where all players can grow both on and off the field.
Micci Lundy
Field Coordinator
Micci Lundy has been the Field Coordinator since February 2024. She reserves fields and gyms for RSA's practices and games, and is the go-to for our coaches if they have any facility-related needs. She has a daughter and son that both play for RSA - beginning back as the tiniest of rec players, now both playing competitively.
Emily Lodemeier
Volunteer Coordinator
Emily Lodermeier is the volunteer coordinator for RSA. Emily loves this Richfield community, and is particularly fond of spending time on the sidelines of the Richfield Soccer fields in the spring and summer watching her 7 and 10 year olds play. She is excited to work with the community to enrich volunteer involvement, which is critical to ensure our club remains one of the best for players to have fun and develop their soccer skills.
